This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 29, 2008:
I have overvalued hard work and often gotten the opposite result of what I wanted.

I have done the same, Kate. I was raised to believe hard work would result in rewards for performance. That is not the way the world works. These days I try to work smart and not too hard (supported by some health issues I now have). Blessings on you in your journey to find an alternative to hard work.
